Privacy

The short version

You send us receipts and invoices. We read them, keep the figures, and show them back to you. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and nobody outside your own company sees your documents unless we need to in order to run or fix the service.

What we hold

The documents you send and the details read from them — supplier, date, amount, tax, line items. The contact details you register with: a name, a phone number and an email address. And basic usage data about how the site is used.

What we use it for

Running the service, showing you your own records, calculating what you owe us, and improving how well documents are read. Nothing else.

Who can see it

People at your own company you have given access to, at the level of access you gave them. A small number of our own staff, where that is needed to operate the service or to resolve a problem you have raised. Access by our staff is limited and recorded.

Service providers

We use a small number of established providers to host the service and to read documents. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not name them here, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

If you need the specific providers named for your own compliance or procurement review, your Admin can request a data-processing schedule and we will provide it directly.

Where it is kept

Live systems run in the Middle East. Backups are held in Europe so that a regional failure cannot take both.

Usage data

We measure how the site is used so we can fix what is confusing: pages visited, time on a page, device and browser, how far down a page people read, and clicks that hit nothing. We approximate your region from your browser's time-zone setting rather than from your network address. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or close your account and have it deleted. How to do each is set out on the data deletion page.
