Terms of use

Who you are dealing with

Extracto is a product of Fluvia FZC. Using the service means you accept these terms.

What the service does

You send photographs or files of receipts and invoices over WhatsApp. We read the details from them, hold those details against the project you chose, and give you a dashboard to review, correct and report on them.

What it does not do

It is not an accountant, an auditor or a tax adviser, and nothing it produces is advice. It does not file anything on your behalf and it does not pay anyone. What you submit to any authority remains your responsibility.

Accuracy, and why review exists

Documents are read automatically, and automatic reading is not perfect — a smudged figure or an unusual layout can be misread. That is precisely why nothing counts until a person at your company confirms it. Confirming a document is you telling us the figures are right. The same applies to totals, reports and any answer the assistant gives: they are produced from your own confirmed records and are provided for your information, not as accounting, tax or legal advice. Check any figure against the underlying document before relying on it.

Fees

0.1% of the value of each document you confirm, and nothing for a document you reject. The bill for a month is that 0.1% or AED 1,500, whichever is the greater — not both. A company that commits to a full year instead pays AED 12,000 once, which covers AED 1,000 of each of the twelve months; in any of those months only the amount by which the 0.1% exceeds AED 1,000 is billed, and a month below it is billed nothing further.

Your account

Accounts are opened by invitation. Each company has one Admin, who decides who else has access and at what level. You are responsible for who you give access to and for what they do with it. Tell us immediately if you think someone has access who should not.

Acceptable use

Send documents that belong to your own business. Do not try to reach another company's data, do not attempt to break or overload the service, and do not use it to store anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and we take daily backups, but we do not guarantee it will be available at any given moment. We may change or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially affects you, we will tell you.

Support

Support is by WhatsApp. We answer as quickly as we can. We do not promise a response within a set time, and we would rather say that than promise something we cannot hold to.

Limits

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for losses arising from figures you confirmed, from decisions you took on the basis of them, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

What is ours

The service and this site are our work: the design, the software behind it, the words and images on it, and the Extracto name, logo and look. They belong to Fluvia FZC or its licensors. Your documents and your data are yours; the product is ours.

Using the site gives you no licence to copy any of that, in whole or in part, and the fact that it is publicly reachable on the internet places none of it in the public domain. If someone copies our work or passes it off as their own, we will enforce our rights — including asking a court to stop it and to award the damages, profits and legal costs the law allows.

Trademarks

WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Extracto is an independent product, built by Fluvia FZC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp's name and logo appear on this site for one purpose only: to identify the messaging service Extracto sends and receives documents through, so you know where to look for your code and where to send a receipt.

If something goes wrong

Talk to us first. Message us on WhatsApp and set out the problem, and we will try to resolve it directly.
